The open sided living area is located on the ground floor of the main house. Cooled by natural breezes and pendulous ceiling fans, it lends itself to be an ideal entertainment environment, incorporating a modern open plan kitchen and boasting wonderful views of the terraced gardens. This large airy space is furnished with a solid dining table for up to 10 people, created from a single piece of wood and ideal for dinner parties.

A modern and professional kitchen is settled in one corner and guests can either prepare their own meals or ask our staff to do the cooking. The villa does not have a cook but an experienced cook can also be called in order to prepare gourmet diner (with additional cost).

Villa Mona is equipped with a high bandwith internet connection and WiFi that allows web surfing, email handling, and streaming music listening.

The 29″ flat screen is connected to a satellite TV network. All the major international channels are available for children and adults. Some water-proof Bose speakers are installed to provide this famous and amazing sound system over the terrace and the living space. Low volume will provide a cozy atmosphere for a dinner, and higher volume will allow the organization of parties around the swimming pool.

The 5-bedroom, private hideaway, offers a 6 x 36 meter pool with comfortable sunbeds, a high ceiling living room with a fully equipped kitchen, 4 Jacuzzi’s, a TV and games room underneath the pool and an open air bar area for relaxation.

Guests staying at Villa Latitude have free access to the Karang Kembar Beach Club which is right on the beach and only a few steps away from the sea. The Club has a well kept lush garden, 2 x 5 meter pool, 2 bale’s with sun lounges, bathroom/changing room and BBQ area.

Each of Latitude’s five bedrooms can comfortably accommodate a maximum of two guests per room. The villa’s nightly tariff represents the cost per night for a party of no more than ten guests.

Location

Latitude is located on the Karang Kembar Estate on the southernmost tip of Bali in a region known as the Bukit Peninsula – a limestone tableland boasting some of Bali’s most glamorous villas, private estates and internationally-branded boutique hotels.

From the villa’s lofty lookout, if the sea is calm, guests can observe the coral reef and the seaweed farms beneath the surface. They may even spot turtles, dugongs, manta rays and migrating pilot whales, as well as the long tailed grey macaque monkeys that play in the neighbouring areas where the landscape is dotted with cactus, kapok trees and gorgeous scarlet flamboyants.

A tropical, equatorial climate means year-round balmy temperatures, this region is much drier than the rest of the island, yet cooler due to the offshore trade winds. The barrelling surf breaks here are among the best in the world, and guests at Latitude can enjoy the amenities of the Karang Kembar Beach Club.

A private helipad offers the option of quick transfers to and from the International Airport, 18 kilometres away. There are two world-class golf courses on the Bukit, and for adventurous guests there is a paintball facility as well as a paragliding centre on the cliff, 80 metres above the nearby Timbis Beach. Master Suite
The multi-level master suite consists of an air-conditioned bedroom furnished with a king-size bed and equipped with a 32″ flat screen satellite-channel TV and DVD player.

In front of the bedroom is an elevated timber deck which offers a breathtaking view of the ocean. The ensuite bathroom presents an indoor area with an overhead monsoon shower and a handheld shower and twin marble washbasins on a black polished granite vanity unit. The outdoor bathing area features a timber deck and a sunken Jacuzzi tub.

There is also a private garden area with a hidden sunbathing deck.

Guest Room
Three fully air-conditioned guest rooms rest to one side of the main pavilion, at the far end of the pool. Each identical bedroom is furnished with a king bed (one of which converts to twins), and equipped with a TV and DVD player, and each features glass walls and doors that open to a stone pool deck and the stunning view of the ocean.

Each bathroom slides open to a circular open-air bathing area with a hot Jacuzzi tub and a broad, open chimney that extends to the upper lawn.

Guest House
A private one-bedroom guesthouse is positioned on the top level near the wedding lawn, and accessed via steps over an ornamental pond. The air-conditioned bedroom is furnished with a king bed that converts to twins.

There is a small dressing area and an indoor bathroom with twin marble washbasins and a toilet and shower in separate cubicles. At the front of the guest house is a timber deck and more fabulous views.

Master Building Bedrooms
The master building features the elegant, air conditioned master bedroom, which features recycled teakwood flooring, glass walls and striking black and white artwork. The contemporary furnishings in the master bedroom include a king size bed, a pair of black leather chairs and a flat screen TV, complete with DVD which appears at the press of a button from a slim line white cabinet. A walk through the bedroom’s large walk in dressing room reveals the hugely spacious ensuite bathroom fashioned in grey terrazzo with a free-standing, oversized terrazzo bathtub, twin square washbasins, a toilet, bide and two walk in monsoon showers – one fitted with black volcanic rock splashback that opens to the sky within a secluded outdoor area.

Complementing the master bedroom is the air conditioned study bedroom, which offers the ideal space for anyone travelling on business with its own built in long wall desk. The monochromatic theme comes into its own in the chic living room, where again floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto the pool deck to let the cool breeze flow in, or alternatively closed for air conditioned comfort. Decked out with two large black sofas, ottomans, accompanying black lamps and a zebra skin run upon the grey terrazzo floor, the room also features a 55″ flat screen, 60 channel TV with DVD player and Bose Sound System that is wired for sound throughout the building and individually controlled in each room.

Hall & Landing
Adjacent to the kitchen on the ground floor, stands custom-cut organic lava stone, from central Java, wall and a guest powder room with a penshell resin countertop. A floating cantilevered staircase leads you from this area to the upper floor past exterior walls that showcase louvred shutters, designed to create airflow.

Elevated Deck
Sweeping across two sides of the upper floor, the elevated deck offers a secret alcove, furnished with two white lounge chairs…a great spot to escape with a book. The deck then extends to a timber bridge over the swimming pool to form a unique party space or chill out area – perfect for sunset cocktails.

Gym
A standalone gym with creamy white palimanan stone wall and grey terrazzo floor is well-equipped with a treadmill, stationary exercise bike and fitball, as well as 32″ flat screen TV and iPod dock, as well as its own bathroom with shower and toilet.

Dining Room & Kitchen
Other features of the main building include the dining room and a cutting edge chef’s kitchen on the lower level, a floating cantilevered staircase connecting the two floors together includes the sweeping deck that wraps around the two sides of the upper floor and extends out to the bridge over the swimming pool. A Bose Sound System is wired for sound throughout the main building and is individually controlled in each room.

The epicentre of the main building, the dazzling dining room is furnished with a credenza and a 3.2 metre blond wood dining table with bench seating for 12, softly lit by five hanging lights. Floor-to-ceiling, folding glass doors open directly to the pool deck and invite the garden indoors, while orange, red and yellow themed artwork bring a bright splash of colour to the back wall.

The area is air conditioned and can be separated from the living area. A private powder room for guests is also located on the lower level.

A palate of green, white and yellow, the garden is filled with flowering trees and six varieties of ancient sweet scented frangipani, some of which are over 200 years old. The central focus of the garden and the property itself is the stunning 25 metre swimming pool, which is perfect for a relaxing dip or swimming laps and is bordered by a recycled ulin timber deck, furnished with sun lounges and beanbags to laze away on.
